Frank J. Garito is President of Asbestos Corporation of America and ACA Environmental Services, of Yonkers, New York. Frank is also President of the Environmental Contractors Association of New York City and a member of the Board of Governors of the Building Trades Employers Association of New York City. He is also the President of the New Rochelle Neighborhood Revitalization Corporation, a not for profit housing corporation that has completed over 1200 units of housing in the City of New Rochelle for low and moderate-income families.
He is the recipient of the 2002 Gold Medal Award from the National Republican Congressional Committee in Washington, D.C., for his participation and support of the Business Advisory Council. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Boys’ and Girls’ Club, as well as many other charitable, benevolent, fraternal civic and youth organizations for many years. Mr. Garito is also the former Mayor of the City of New Rochelle as well as a former member of the Westchester County Board of Supervisors. and served as a Sergeant in the US Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean conflict.
He and his wife Rose are the proud parents of Frank, Jr., of Aliso Viejo, California, Stephen of New Rochelle, New York, and Roellen Bishop of Park City, Utah. They are the grandparents of Stephanie, Leanna and Sam Garito and Weston and Jena Bishop. His hobbies are painting, golf, and travel.
